Gattis Garage Ghost Wire LED Tail Light

One Wire. Two Functions. No Clutter.

The Gattis Garage Ghost Wire LED Tail Light was designed for ultra-clean custom motorcycle builds where exposed wiring can ruin the look.

Unlike a conventional dual-function tail light requiring separate running, brake, and ground wires at the light, the Ghost Wire provides full running-light and brake-light operation with only ONE wire going to the tail light itself.

The metal housing provides the ground, while the included Gattis Garage solid-state Run/Brake Driver combines the motorcycle's running and brake-light signals into a single output.

The result is an incredibly clean installation that's perfect for stripped-down bobbers, choppers and custom builds.

One Wire at the Light

The included driver connects to the motorcycle's existing running-light and brake-light positive circuits and sends both functions through a single wire to the Ghost Wire Tail Light.

The metal tail-light housing provides the ground.

At the light: one wire. That's it.

Solid-State Run/Brake Driver

The Ghost Wire isn't simply a single-wire LED with a resistor added to it. The included compact driver is purpose-built to provide proper dual-intensity running and brake-light operation.

The driver features built-in circuit isolation, keeping the motorcycle's brake and running-light circuits electrically separated while combining both functions into a single output.

This prevents electrical backfeeding between the brake and running-light circuits while maintaining proper operation of both functions.

With no relays or moving components, the entire system is solid-state for a simple and reliable installation.

Fully Sealed & Waterproof

Instead of using a conventional replaceable bulb, bulb socket or exposed electrical contacts, the Ghost Wire LED assembly is permanently encapsulated in red resin.

This creates a fully sealed and waterproof LED assembly while eliminating the sockets and electrical contacts that can loosen, corrode or become contaminated by moisture.

The result is a compact tail light designed specifically for the vibration and exposure found on custom motorcycles.

Installation

The driver has separate inputs for the motorcycle's running-light and brake-light circuits and a single output that connects to the Ghost Wire Tail Light.

Because the tail-light housing provides the ground, the housing must have a reliable electrical connection to the motorcycle chassis or ground.

Painted, powder-coated, rubber-mounted or otherwise electrically isolated mounting locations may require an additional ground connection to the housing.
